The Learning Schools Project addresses a common problem in the education systems of most European countries – the loss of knowledge and experience for the schools themselves when teachers retire or change jobs.
The reason: the lack of established practices for collecting, synthesizing and sharing knowledge within the school. The aim of the project is to contribute to the improvement of individual, team and organizational learning in schools by developing a knowledge management system and a set of practical tools integrated into an electronic platform.
The target group of the project are school principals, school leaders and teachers from Bulgaria, Spain, Italy and Turkey.
The main activities of the project are:
1 / Research and development of a model of a learning school and assessment tools;
2 / Development of a knowledge management system;
3 / Building an innovative knowledge management platform;
4 / Training of the teams of the partner organizations;
5 / International working meetings;
6 / Events to promote the results in each of the countries
